Policies for Aircraft Owners

We are not big on legalese, but there are some important things to know about when and why we will accept a new aircraft into the club.

We will NOT add an aircraft until we have 5 members per aircraft. This is to keep the pilot:aircraft ratio sane, and our growth "organic" and not "explosive".

We will ask owners to use our schedule for booking their aircraft.

We will ask owners to adhere to our "Uptime guarantees" and ensure efficient repairs are done to their aircraft.

Aircraft accepted by Wingfleet will be subject to pre-acceptance inspection for mechanical fitness, at our expense of course.

That's it for now. We will, of course, add to this list as we find things not working. But for now, that's it.

...as for guidelines... here are a few:

Well-maintained planes with good paint and interior do well.

Pilot-friendly features such as GPS and autopilot do well.

Reasonably easy to fly aircraft do well. A Bonanza does better than a Mooney, for example, although both are welcome. Oddball aircraft with persnickity flight or operation characteristics will not -- geared engines, manual turbos, and the like tend to invite trouble.

Open communication is ideal. We can make a lot of things work, and we're willing to work with you. In the end, however, some planes are just not suitable for our club, and I'm certain "we'll know it when we see it" and let you know up front. Some planes are only suitable for one pilot at a time, and don't play nicely with a group. :)

Feel free to contact us for more details about sharing an aircraft with the club.
